Dear Beta Members,

Welcome back to another semester at UNLV! I hope your summer was fun, safe and relaxing, but now it's time to hit the books and get back in the groove of studying. Join us at Beta Alpha Psi this fall for some incredible events, including Employers' Night and Mock Interviews, where you will get a chance to network with professionals in the accounting field. In addition, your officers have planned several new programs and events in our continuous effort to improve your experience with Beta.

Beta Alpha Psi is the premier place to start networking for your future career. We provide numerous opportunities for our members to meet with professionals in many financial information fields. Office visits are conducted at a wide range of firms, from Big 4 international firms to national and regional firms to the small local firms. In addition, we work with several government agencies and the Las Vegas gaming industry in our effort to maintain a variety of professional experiences for our members to explore.

As always, community service will continue to be a focus of our chapter. This semester, Dewey Animal Shelter will host events for our members to help rehabilitate abandoned pets. We will also continue to help keep Lake Mead clean and safe for campers, hikers and boaters. In November, we will return to the Magical Forest to staff the rides and help give needy children a wonderful holiday.
